of rectangular form, the screen finely carved on one side with two scholars conversing amidst a wondrous rural landscape with mountainous cliffs and verdant vegetation, a pavilion set on the right of the scene, an attendant depicted crossing the bridge to the standing scholars, the reverse similarly carved with a scholar looking out from a pavilion to a riverscape with an attendant behind him, all amidst overhanging trees and jagged rockwork, all within a floral scroll border and supported on a matching lacquer stand carved with floral scroll designs
