the small tapered horn carved with an irregular rim, the exterior decorated overall with small knots and concentric rings simulating a burlwood trunk, the openwork handle formed on one side with intertwining branches, the horn of a warm reddish-brown colour, wood stand

The overall condition is quite good except for some typical nicks to extremities, insect holes and age cracks, especially to the rim where sections have been slightly polished down. There are a few insect holes which has been filled in with raisin. The interior has some surface scratches. The base has possibly been polished down.
