松之風骨，剛直不阿，自古備受文人追捧。相類犀盃，可參考一例，仇焱之及仇大雄舊藏，曾售於香港蘇富比2011年4月8日，編號2724。另見一例，尺寸略大，藏切斯特比替圖書館，錄於 Jan Chapman，《中國的犀牛角雕刻藝術》，倫敦，1999年，圖版229。亦見一略小例，Nil Nessim舊藏，售於紐約蘇富比1981年2月27日，編號320。

時之藝匠，互通彼技。本品刀工，非拘犀雕一門而已。近觀其松，幹如密卵，針如團扇，類若玉作。可比一玉筆筒例，載於 Robert Kleiner，《Chinese Jades from the Collection of Alan and Simone Hartman》，香港，1996年，圖版111。
