finely carved as a lady standing on a rocky base with one foot in front of another and leaning slightly towards the front, her face with a serene expression, holding a long stem issuing a lotus blossom in her right hand and a bird in her left, adorned in a long flowing dress and a shawl swirling around her arms and extending to the base, a large scaly fish emerging from tempestuous waves behind the figure, the stone of a pale lavender colour
Condition
A section of one of the stems about ethe lady's head has been broken off, loss of approx 1.2cm. Other minor abrasion to the fragile extremities. The colour in the catalogue photo is slightly dull, in reality the face and body has a stronger more attractive lavender tinge.
