of flattened form and oval section, the pear-shaped body sweeping up to a subtly flared neck, all supported on a splayed foot, the neck flanked by a pair of elaborate angular kui dragon handles, the body decorated in low relief with a broad archaistic band of two pairs of confronting kui dragons, the neck similarly carved with kui dragons writhing sinuously, all above a band of upright petal lotus lappets encircling the lower body, the handles chained to an arched handle, the well-fitted domed cover further attached to the chain, detailed with stylised sinuous kui dragons around the sides and surmounted by a globular finial, the stone of a translucent pale green colour, wood stand

Stand: There is a 9cm loss to the railings that surround the vase's stand. There is a 0.6cm area of abrasion at the mouth of the vase. Otherwise good condition, with accurate colour in the catalogue photo.
