In overall good condition. Minute nicks to the extremities as can be expected. There is a faint horizontal natural line to the tall foot.

此器精雕細琢，飾饕餮紋，輔變形蟬紋。玉質光亮潤潔，材碩大，幾近無瑕，色澤飽滿濃厚。黃玉之黃，宮廷之色，清廷甚鍾愛之。

觚者，青銅古器。清帝皆尚古品，傾力着造，所製之觚，或出戟，或無戟，見各類材質、紋樣、制式之品，如銅、掐絲琺瑯、瓷、玉等。雍正朝繪《古玩圖》手卷，圖中見一六方出戟玉觚，手卷現藏倫敦維多利亞與艾爾伯特博物館，展於《盛世華章》，皇家藝術學院，倫敦，2006年，圖版169。
