The ear-cup is in very good condition with the exception of a tiny burst glaze bubble to the base and a light overall crackle to the glaze.

本品造型樸雅，其源遠溯戰國及漢代青銅耳盃。宋代有五大名窰，以汝窰最為珍罕，本品罩施仿汝釉，突顯乾隆帝好雅慕古，對仿古器物青睞有加。釉色瑩亮，更顯線條蘊藉秀麗，既具當朝風采，亦富樸淳古意。

可參考一無款耳盃例，出自仇焱之典藏，售於香港蘇富比1980年11月25日編號92；另一仿官釉作例，售於香港蘇富比1976年11月26及27日，編號118。

耳盃，又稱羽觴，呈橢圓形狀，弧形雙耳為柄，可作酒器食具兩用。湖南近長沙之馬王堆漢代軑侯及其家眷古墓，曾出土九十耳盃，五十隻上書「君奉食」，其餘上書「君奉酒」，可證耳盃酒食兩用。
