The cup is in very good condition with the exception of very minor glaze firing imprefections including faint iron-spots to the interior and one to the exterior and a slightly un-even pooling to the glaze on the interior.

本品精緻絕倫，類例甚罕，可參考一水盂例，型飾相近，製於安徽省繁昌縣，圖見《Heaven and Earth Seen Within. Song Ceramics from the Robert Barron Collection》，新奧爾良，2000年，頁116，圖版43。作者論述，安徽古墓及繁昌窰遺址曾出土相同水盂，此外安徽省宿松縣古墓（1087年）曾出土四十件青白瓷，包括兩件相近作例。紐約大都藝術博物館亦收藏一例，載於Stacey Pierson（編），《Qingbai Wares: Chinese Porcelains of the Song and Yuan Dynasties》，倫敦，2002年，圖版26，紐約蘇富比亦曾售兩例，分別為2005年9月21及22日，編號55，以及 2004年3月23日，編號621。
