The bowls are slightly misfired with minute black spots around the exterior rim and base. There are minor enamel wear and shallow chips to the foot. General glaze firing imperfections.

本盌紋飾以沒骨畫法繪成，溫婉逸雅，清麗可喜。畫匠不以墨線勾勒輪廓骨架，僅用墨彩描繪葉脈紋理與花間蝴蝶，彰顯雍正一朝工匠創思絕藝。此法雖見於明朝畫作，唯鮮用於瓷器紋飾，或因畫法繁複，難用於大批製作。倘畫匠造詣稍遜，則需依賴墨線勾邊，而後再施顏彩，處理欠佳者，則令紋飾彷如未及完成，故而此法極能展示畫匠造詣。

比較一近例，售於香港蘇富比1988年5月18日，編號264，後易手於香港佳士得1999年11月2日，編號522；另有盌例成對，售於香港蘇富比1983年5月14日，編號196；仇焱之故藏一品，售於香港蘇富比1981年5月19日，編號605。康蕊君著 《玫茵堂藏中國陶瓷》記載成對作例，圖見卷2，倫敦，1994年，圖版964，售於香港蘇富比2013年4月8日，編號13。
