painted with a scholar seated at a cottage nestled amongst a bamboo grove in a landscape of pine and rocks, accompanied by a poem, dated bingshen year (corresponding to 1896), signed and with one seal of the artist; together with a similarly decorated circular tray by Yu Ziming, dated jichou year (corresponding to 1889), signed and with one seal of the artist

Plaque: This is in good condition, but does have a minor shallow 4mm by 2mm glaze chip/flake at 2 o'clock. There are minor iron spots, burst bubbles and scratches to the glaze. Tray: This is in good condition, but the rim is slightly uneven and has numerous small iron spots all the way around. There are also minor scratches to the glaze to the interior.
