Condition
The jar is in good condition with the exception of two 1cm., hairline rim cracks, a burst glaze bubble at the rim and light glaze scratches.

相近罐例曾出土於江西景德鎮明代窰廠遺址永樂時期地層，展於《景德鎮出土院明官窰瓷器》，炎黃藝術館，北京，1999年，編號95。亦可參考較大作例數件，造型相近；其一帶蓋，曾展於《景德鎮出土明初官窰瓷器》，鴻禧美術館，1996年，編號85；出光美術館現藏兩例，載於《中国陶磁：出光美術館蔵品図録》，東京，1987年，圖版614及615；另有龍紋罐兩例，曾售於倫敦蘇富比，首例出自Madame L. Wannieck收藏，售於2001年6月20日，編號43；第二例售於2002年11月13日，編號105。
