the flattened globular body rising from a short oval foot to a waisted neck, brightly painted on one face with Lan Caihe carrying a basket of flowers and Li Tieguai seated on a large double-gourd riding on waves, the reverse with He Xiangu and Han Zhongli holding a fan paddling a raft, all below a band of ruyi heads, the base with a four-character reign mark, stopper
Condition
Enamel shrinkage from firing. A slightly recessed area of approximately 8mm by 8mm to one side. Otherwise in good condition. Old collection label reading: Collection du Monceau no. 7 adhered to one side.
