the conical sides rising from a short foot to a gently flaring rim, carved to the interior with a large peony bloom borne on curved stems issuing trefoil leaves, covered overall in a translucent olive-green glaze stopping neatly at the foot revealing the grey body

Condition
In very good general condition, with the exception of a 6mm rim crack and a 14mm glaze crack at the rim. Two areas of glaze thinning to the rim. British Antique Dealers Association label to underside. Minor firing imperfections.
