the shallow rounded sides resting on a gently flaring foot, covered overall in a lavender-blue glaze stopping unevenly above the foot, thinning to a mushroom tone at the rim

The dish is in good condition with the exception of minor glaze firing imperfections, including burst glaze bubbles, iron-spots, glaze pulls and light glaze scratches. It should be noted that the glaze is a slightly darker greyish-blue tone than the catalogue illustration would suggest.
