carved seated with his right leg raised, the arms supporting a ruyi sceptre, dressed in long robes hemmed with floral scroll borders, the hair combed back in tight curls and the face with a moustache and beard, the stone of a golden beige tone suffused with vermillion-red inclusions
Condition
The right foot later replaced and a small area (5mm by 3mm) of infill to the left shoulder. Otherwise in good general condition, with wear to gilding and light surface wear.
