the rounded sides rising from a short tapering foot to a broad everted rim, the interior painted in rich cobalt-blue tones with a medallion enclosing a large leafy bunch of grapes, encircled at the rim with the beribboned emblems interspersed with flower sprays, the exterior with three fruiting spays beneath a band of prunus branches at the rim

This large and impressive dish is in good condition with the exception of a shallow 2.5cm., wide flake to the underside of the rim and minor glaze firing imperfections including scattered kiln grit to the interior, iron spots and small blisters.
