seated on a rockwork throne holding a small boy in her lap, wearing a long flowing robe and hooded cowl, all flanked by a vase and a book perched on rockwork and above Longnu and Shoukai standing at the base, covered overall in a creamy-white glaze
Condition
Restoration to Guanyin's thumb, index and middle finger, the child's right arm, and the bottom front left corner of the base (4x3cm). Minor chips to the extremities, such as the thumb of the child, the tip of the dragon horn and claws, and the edge of Guanyin's hood. Extensive glaze cracks to the middle left of the front and the reverse, with associated chips. Firing cracks and glaze imperfections.
