of cylindrical form, naturalistically modelled as tall sections of bamboo tied together with a rope, glazed overall in yellow with brown markings, save for the base glazed white with an apocryphal Xuande mark, together with a yellow-glazed 'peony' washer, Kangxi period, and an aubergine-glazed 'peony' water-dropper, Kangxi period

The aubergine-glazed water-dropper had been broken and restored with extensive cracks and overpainting. There is a 0.5x0.3cm area of loss to the spout. The handle of the yellow-glazed washer is broken and restored, with associated areas of overpainting. There is a firing flaw to the exterior just below the rim. The brushpot with minor chips along the foot (largest 0.3x0.2cm). All three vessels have minor glaze firing imperfections and surface scratchings.
