seated in lalitasana on a double lotus base, the right hand held in varadamudra and the left raised to the chest in vitarkamudra, flanked by uptala lotuses rising to the shoulders along the elbows, wearing a dhoti tied at the waist, the bare chest festooned with beaded necklaces, the face with a benevolent expression, crowned with a five-leaf tiara in front of a high chignon

Base sealed but probably a later replacement. A section of the celestial scarf below the right arm missing, with faint cracks near the affected areas. The bottom of the lotus stem near the right arm is broken and restuck. The neck with a faint crack running across the front. The crown inlaid with a silver band. Considerable casting flaws and minor dents and pits across the surface. The gilding is worn, particularly around the extremities and near the base.
