each of conical form, enamelled with to the exterior with phoenix and bamboo, continuing over the rim onto the interior, the base inscribed with an eight character inscription reading Guangxu dingwei yuhaitang zhi (corresponding to 1907)
Condition
Both bowls in good condition, but with glaze firing imperfections and minor surface wear. One bowl's interior with a 0.2x0.1cm iron spot, a discoloured burst glaze bubble below it, and two 0.3cm firing cracks. The other bowl with a 0.2cm firing crack to the rim, extending to an approx. 1.5cm body line.
