Both hands and the flute had been broken and repaired. A large section of the scarf around the shoulders of the figure is lost, with a 0.4x0.3cm chip to the end near the foot. There are short vertical cracks on the face, as consistent with age. The surface paint and gilding are largely unstable with extensive flaking. The original hairpin and earrings are missing.
