intricately carved recumbent on a curled lotus leaf, its beak grasping a leafy spray of lotus blooms and further leaves, finely detailed with plumage, the stone of an attractive russet-caramel tone suffused with black and milky-white inclusions
Condition
There is a small chip to the lower right edge of the lotus flower to the right side and a very small chip to the edge of the lotus leaf to the back lower left side of the duck. There is a flaw running from the top leaf and flower down through the body to the underside.
