明嘉靖/萬曆 青花團龍花卉紋大罐

heavily potted, the rounded sides rising to a short waisted neck and lipped rim, boldly painted to the exterior with a design of coiled chilong roundels interspersed with alternating peach, pomegranate, cammelia, chrysanthemum, magnolia, peony and prunus roundels, with fruiting and flowering sprays repeated to the shoulder, the neck painted with a narrow band of cranes in flight amidst ruyi-form clouds and a lappet band at the foot

This vase is in good condition, but it does have numerous scratches to the glaze at the shoulder and at the rim and two small chips to the interior rim. There are some minor firing cracks along the luting lines to the sides.
