cast standing in alidhasana on prostrate bodies and animals over an oval lotus base, the principal arms embracing his consort and grasping a curved knife and skull cap, with the secondary arms radiating behind him holding various attributes, the three faces surmounted by a skull crown before flaming hair

Condition

Unsealed. The figure of Yamantaka detachable from the stand; and the consort detachable at the waist, originally affixed with a pin (now lost). Two pairs of screws through the stand, possibly later added. Wear to gilding and pigments. General surface wear characteristic with bronzes of this period.
