the deep rounded sides rising from a tall spreading foot, set at the rim with openwork handles in the form of flowering sprays of peonies, the sides and foot reticulated with a lush of leafy peony branches, the domed cover similarly decorated and surmounted by a matching finial, the stone of an even pale celadon tone

Condition
In good general condition, with the exception of several faint cracks and natural stone fissures to the incense burner and cover. A 36mm rim crack with associated small loss to rim (<1mm), restored.
Several small nicks and chips to the openwork, primarily to the finial of cover.
The stone of a less creamy tone than as shown in the catalogue image, and is more pale green in colour.
