each evenly potted with fluted sides resembling the petals of a chrysanthemum flower, radiating around a slightly recessed centre and supported on a short tapered foot, variously painted to the interior with a bird perched on flowering prunus or camellia branches, the rim gilt and the base inscribed with a double-circle

Condition
The first with restored chip to the underside of the rim measuring approximately 10mm by 6mm; a 7mm restored rim frit; several small frits to the fluted rim; a 4mm glaze pull to the interior, directly above the bird; two small glaze pulls and several minor iron spots.
The second with a 7mm chip at approximately 8 o'clock; with three smaller chips to the underside of the rim; several minor firing imperfections.
Minor wear to the gilding and minor flaking to the enamels to both dishes.

兩盤紋飾精巧雅緻，取材自宋代花鳥畫作，類近紋飾亦見於 磁州窰瓷枕 ，創思靈感同源於宋代花鳥畫。喜鵲立於梅樹枝頭，意寓「喜上眉梢」，同繪山茶紋更寄長青不老之願。
Evill 收藏較小型同例成對瓷盤，兩度現身倫敦蘇富比拍賣場，先後為1960年9月19日，編號 86及1965年11月30日，編號92。另一同例 於香港蘇富比1970年11月28日售出，編號161。另有兩對圓盤例，紋飾相若，售於香港蘇富比，首對售於1976年5月12/13 日，編號259，次對於1979年5月21日出售，編號146；另一單盤作例 出自Herschel V. Johnson收藏，於倫敦蘇富比1967年2月21日售出，編號100。
