- Bamboo (Bambuseae)
of oval section with thick walls, the dense golden-grained sides shallowly carved with a poetic inscription, written vertically in 'running script' extending halfway around the vessel, one side left uncarved, the middle encircled by a raised node above a further node around the foot
Condition
Apart from expected natural age cracks, the overall condition is very good.
