來源

本幅收藏者乃法國資深外交官。六十年代至七十年代期間,歷任駐華大使館二等祕書、駐匈牙利大使館二等祕書、駐蘇聯大使館一等祕書。又獲任法國駐聯合國日內瓦辦事處的常任代表,擢升至具大使銜。據其憶述,一九六八年一月至一九七〇年五月,正值「文化大革命」熾熱期間,供職於駐北京大使館。因得睹館內仝事所藏傅抱石山水,深受啓發,翌日即往琉璃廠的文物商店購置書畫。所藏之傅抱石〈毛澤東《登廬山》詩意〉、黃賓虹〈幽谷論道圖〉、徐悲鴻〈松〉、吳昌碩〈紫綬〉,於二〇一二年四月至一四年四月,於香港蘇富比中國書書拍賣中釋出。

Condition

-Stains can be found at the bottom section and signs of restoration in the middle of the painting, where there appears to be paper loss previously. Generally in fair to good condition.

註:本幅錄乾隆時期著名學者杭世駿(1695-1773)詩。老缶曾謂「此題紅梅句也,予移以題桃花,謂桃源之說,誠荒唐耳」,其言未足深究,實一時興起,或桃或梅,皆虬枝糾結,老幹奇崛,萬玉點綴,蔚如朱蓋,狀其貌,取其勢也。題謂「病臂應教」,純以書法入畫,篆隸之筆,老辣恣放,枝柯交疊穿插,扭曲盤旋,惟未逆天然姿態,見欹正相生之效,雖云手疾,仍取五尺中堂鉅幅,逞強之態,於此顯矣!

藝緣:法國私人收藏二十世紀名家精品(編號 1542-1545)

法中文化交流淵源久遠,法國學術界在上世紀尤為歐洲漢學中心。出諸種種不同原因,或工作,或遊歷,或經商,法籍人士來華絡繹於途。他們背景各異,亦非嚴格意義上之藝術品收藏家,但基於對中國文化之景仰,對此深厚之藝術傳統極具好感,返國時多攜回書畫誌念。尤以與他們身處同一時代之作品,或因欣賞眼光接近,甚至認識作者,成為他們搜集目標,不難理解。

本輯彙集近代四大家作品,藏者不同,皆於四十至六十年代間來華。其中傅抱石、吳昌碩、徐悲鴻三家之作,藏者俱駐華外交使節,於重慶、於南京、於北京,分別親歷抗戰、政權轉易、以至「文革」之歷史轉折時期。他們對講求筆墨且不乏個人風格之作,青垂有加,這亦與其漢學修養不無關係。

林風眠一幅,藏者乃五十年代初在滬經商,是時,於上海之法籍人士,對留法背景兼畫風具西洋色彩之林氏作品格外愛好,遂一一訂購,本幅即當時所得。

時光推移,逾半世紀後這些深藏於彼邦之中國書畫釋出,一經面世,常教人有驚艷之感,而重臨故土,足誌此段藝緣!
