室有鼎彛，舊德先疇，子孫永享；
門無車馬，鴻文大集，歲月長春。
君湘世三兄教正。辛巳秋。孫儆集甲骨文。時年七五。

上款：「君湘」即高君湘，江蘇金山人。著名文人高吹萬三子，父子皆為南社社員。赴美留學，得法律博士學位。返國後，任教於上海東吳大學法學院，並為執業律師。一九四八年遷居香港。其子為諾貝爾物理學獎得主高錕。

註：孫儆，字滄叟，江蘇南通人。光緒廿九年（1903）舉人，一度從政，後歸鄉興辦教育。設「經畬樓」於故鄉，以收藏地方文獻著名。他擅書，專研貞卜文，擅以甲骨文書長聯。造詣精湛，晚年居滬，鬻字為生。
