强者明者乃能是道，忠矣清矣當視其仁。
慨自辛亥國變，舊時交好，或遯迹海島，或閉門故鄉，踪跡既乖，音問復濶。獨吾虞山韜父仁兄太守時相會面，極飲酒賦詩之樂，豪氣百尺，不減當時，每及興亡，輙為流涕，蓋太守與余同病，而世方以忠實為迂談，綱常為癈物，唾罵指摘，宜乎不容斯世矣。聯中微庽此旨，惟方家兩印之。
節盦弟梁鼎芬書並記。
