紐刻群龍壽山石印一顆，予藏之久焉，遇胡蘭成先生來觀之，曰中國自古傳稱「五龍治水，二龍搶珠」，此刻則是也。因請書此兩句，裝潢為對幅，石印一併，敬贈以頌藤井貞夫先生陞任消防廳長官。昭和壬寅孟春。遊記山人拜上。

註：本聯乃胡蘭成應宮田武義之請，書贈藤井貞夫賀其陞任消防廳長官。宮田武義（1891-1992），號遊記山人，畢業於上海同文書院。返國後，開設「山水樓」，專營廣東料理。胡蘭成逃亡日本期間，得曾任駐華外交官之清水董三引介，往訪宮田氏，日後多獲其照拂。
胡氏以文揚名，書法非所長，偶有所作，片言隻字皆小品，如本聯隸書大字，氣魄渾然，有別於筆下陰柔小字，蓋因出於好友所請，遂成此稀見之作。他於匣耑題「其猶龍乎」，同年二月一日刊載之〈天下篇〉專欄上，又撰文記之，滿意之情，溢於言表。獲贈者藤井氏，得本聯後翌年，即轉任人事院事務總長。
