-Light foxing can be found at the top and bottom of the painting, which can be improved by restoration. Signs of restoration can be found especially along the left and right edges, and at the upper section of the painting, where there appears to be paper loss previously. Otherwise, generally in fair to good condition.

註：一九○四年夏，丁輔之、王福厂、吳石潛等發起成立西泠印社，吳缶老獲推為社長。吳丁乃金石交，又為社友，缶老作品結集刊行，丁輔之出力不少。一九二二年夏，他輯昌碩近作精品為〈缶廬近墨〉第一集，由上海西泠印社用珂羅版刊行，甚受歡迎，翌年十月再版。本幅即收錄作品之一，畫上所題七絕乃詠玉蘭四首之一，見於〈缶廬別存〉。
