上款：「安圃」即袁樊（1903－1963），字安圃，號臥雪，蘇州人。少年早慧，弱冠即從馮超然習畫，又從張謇、何汝穆、俞宗海習詩詞、崑曲。馮超然對其青眼有加，張謇更將其才華與吳湖帆相比。袁氏既精書畫，鑑賞眼光尤高，一九四九年離滬去港，為香江收藏界仝道所重。
