-Paper colour appears slightly greyish due to age. Light stains and small area of paper loss could be found at the lower right corner of the painting. Otherwise, generally in fair to good condition.

上款：「昌乾」即范昌乾（1907-1987），廣東揭陽人，新加坡著名畫家。畢業於上海藝專，受教於王震、潘天壽、王个簃。三十年代活躍於潮州畫壇，組織藝濤畫社，開課授徒，出版畫集。一九四八年赴泰國曼谷，因國內政局混亂而滯留當地，五十年代中期移居星洲，從事美術教育工作。在泰期間，任教曼谷光華學校。一九五四年出版之畫集，即由大千先生題簽。

註：一九五〇年，大千先生暫居印度大吉嶺，期間往還香港與曼谷等地，為籌辦展覽奔走。本幅寫於庚寅二月，即一九五〇年三月下旬至四月初，時在泰京勾留小住。寄寓於友人謝晉嘉家中，復與僑界文藝界人士往還，斟酌舉辦個展一事。客途無事，多寫畫遣興排悶，故當地友人獲贈畫頗多，范氏即其一也。
