劉慕曾舊藏民國書法作品 （編號 1347－1349）

劉慕曾（1904-1957），本名先榮，字護安，湖南湘潭人。因崇拜鄉賢曾國藩，更名慕曾。畢業於長沙師範學校。後從政，因治理遵義縣有政聲，為陳誠賞識。三八年，陳氏主政鄂省，委劉慕曾為省府主任秘書。抗戰勝利後，獲蔣中正親自指派任參謀本部軍法司司長，參與審判日本侵華一級戰犯谷壽夫、土肥原賢二等。後改任國防部軍法處少將處長。復轉遷東北任職。一九四九年，隨陳誠渡海赴台灣，歷任台灣省政府主任秘書、行政院參事兼機要室主任、光復大陸設計委員會委員。一九五七年病逝於台北。

劉氏好書畫，收藏民國名人及同籍鄉賢作品甚豐，包括溥儒、康有為等作品。
