註：本幅上聯語出杜甫「追酬故高蜀州人日見寄」，下聯為李白「將進酒」名句。一九四一年，徐悲鴻客居新加坡、檳城間，甚為勤勉，每天五時晨起作畫，畫畢則以餘墨練字，贈友書法頗多。是年中秋夜，他與黃孟圭等在敬廬學校賞月暢談，此聯或於當時眾人聊到激情澎湃時所書。
