陳康侯（1866-1937），字錫蕃，揚州人。工山水花鳥，尤擅草蟲。亦嗜收藏，以明清書畫為主。

Paper turns greyish due to age and stains can be found at the lower left corner of the calligraphy, which can be improved by restoration. Otherwise, generally in good condition.

上款：「養儒」即朱養儒，安徽涇縣人。光緒初，悲盦客南昌時，兩人頗有過從。光緒三年（1877），他為朱氏行書題〈晴窗鑒古圖〉四絶，此詩刊入〈悲盦居士詩賸〉。
