註：本幅無署年，在〈林風眠的世界〉展覽目錄訂為「約四十年代末」之作。這段期間傳世的風景畫甚少。畫中佈局自然，近、中、遠景層次分明，松林前後、高低、疏密佈置井然有序，鄉舍聚落於林蔭前後遮護間。遠山處理非慣見以色彩渲染為橫亘蜿蜒的圓形峰頂，卻似巨幅厚岩挺立，密封整個畫面，復以粗筆重墨橫掠帶出山頭綫條，起伏之勢簡約為方折呈現稜角狀，其堅實厚重與前景清溪涓流恰成對比明顯效果。畫家寫來行筆縱放，綫條爽快俐落見速度節奏，用色沉實蒼鬱，雖無五彩眩目，惟藍綠交融互滲中變化豐富，畫境極盡清寂幽微之妙！
