註：一九三〇年底，高劍父赴印度考察藝術期間，舉行個人畫展，遍遊各省，並及緬甸、尼泊爾等地，途中又登喜馬拉雅山觀雪，考其險要，飽覽自然勝景，得五七言詩多首，此即本幅題曰「喜馬拉耶山二十首」。畫中謂歸途錫金，又稱西金，即哲孟雄之地，處尼泊爾與不丹間。詩中雖有「雪淺」、「寒光」句，但畫境未露寒意，反是春山飛瀑、奇峰叠出，佛塔以至寺廟殘垣頹址散落於山嶺起伏間，落暉餘韵下映照佛國遺迹。畫上紀年一九四三年春，正劍父避兵濠江之時，憶寫十載前佛國之行，或記當年撰〈喜馬拉雅山與中國國防之關係〉，今國防不修，寇燄益熾，寧靜之境，只能求諸畫中天地矣！
