reverse-decorated in vivid tones of inky cobalt with flowering branches of prunus against a ground of crackled ice, between a crenulated border collaring the shoulder and a plain white-glazed band stopping short above the neatly cut foot, the base glazed white, the rim and footring left unglazed, wood cover and stand
Condition
There is a 2.2 cm hairline to rim, otherwise the jar and cover are in very good condition and the blue glazes particularly vibrant.
