十八 / 十九世紀 銅胎掐絲琺瑯「佛獅戲繡球」紋盌

finely wrought with deep rounded sides supported on a tall footring and decorated in multi-coloured enamels on a turquoise ground, the interior with a beribboned four-pronged vajra centred with a yin yang symbol within a border of petal panels, surrounded around the interior and exterior walls by four Buddhist lions of alternating yellow, blue and green colour, either frolicking among auspicious objects or vying for a brocade ball, all below a white-ground band of leafy multi-coloured lingzhi encircling the interior and exterior rim 

There is some oxidization and expected wear to the gilt-bronze rim, under the footring, and at the joint between the footring and the bowl, but overall the bowl is in good condition.
