of rectangular section supported on four scrolling corner feet and two transverse stretchers on the underside, the black lacquer top dipped within a brown lacquer frame inlaid in mother-of-pearl with a floral 'cash' diapers, the waisted apron inset with sections of wickerwork contained within lobed panels against a floral-diaper ground, the edges of the top and base inlaid with zig-zag motifs and embellished with small copper mounts, the scrolling feet finely outlined with a lipped border

There are crackles to the black lacquer running across the top, including one more prominent in the centre. The mother-of-pearl inlays are slightly toned or worn with some sections missing, but overall the stand is in good condition, in commensuration with its age.
