the censer of cylindrical form with a slightly incurved rim, raised on three short tapering feet, finely incised on the exterior with three narrow ribs around the centre repeated around the base and rim, covered overall with a crisp white glaze slightly tinged to blue; the two dishes painted on the interior with a musician seated on a stool, strumming a pear-shaped lute, dressed in loose pants and wearing a round cap, looking at the moon in the distance, each inscribed in underglaze blue with a four-character seal mark, wood stands
Condition
Censer: There is a minute iron spot on the central rib and a single blue spot underglaze, otherwise the censer is immaculate and in overall good condition.
Dish: There is a minute 0.3 cm flake under the rim of one dish. There are a few small frits on the rim of each, some slightly polished, and a few pinholes to the interiors, otherwise the two dishes are in overall good condition.
