modelled in the form of a large peach, with shallow incurved sides and a flat base slightly raised on three short conical feet, crisply moulded at the back with a projecting stalk and two blossoms flanked by long lanceolate leaves and two attendant buds, painted overall with a smoothly textured lime green enamel ripening to crushed-raspberry pink towards the tip, the stalk and leaves naturalistically detailed in tones of green and brown

The peach washer is in overall good condition. There is some very minor rubbing to the enamels as expected in a few areas on the reliefs including on the stalk and the tip of the peach on the underside. There is some surface wear and light scratches on the interior from use. The actual colour is consistent, if not slightly more vibrant, compared to the catalogue illustration.
