of rectangular form, finely carved in low relief on one side with a military warrior, dressed in patterned armour holding a sword with one hand, the reverse with an inscription from an excerpt from San Guo Yan Yi ('Romance of the Three Kingdoms') eulogising Zhao Zilong in running script, all within a pair of confronting dragons on either side, the translucent stone of an even white tone
Condition
The plaque is in overall very good condition without any apparent nicks. The actual colour is slightly more tinged to celadon than the catalogue illustration.
