the figure seated high in dhyanasana on a double lotus petal pedestal, his hands held in dhyanamudra holding the kalasha, wearing a loose shawl billowing around his shoulders and arms and a dhoti fastened with a tasselled belt, the torso bare, wearing a beaded necklace, bejewelled bangles and armlets, the benevolent face with gentle features surmounted by a three-leaf diadem, framed by round earrings and a high chignon

There is some expected wear to the surface of the figure in commensuration with age but overall the condition is good. The figure and the base may be cast separately and set together since there is a small interstice showing between them. The base is sealed.
