of tall cylindrical form, the container carved in openwork with a continuous scene depicting budding and blossoming lotus blooms stemming from long undulating leafy stems, a crab emerging from behind a leaf near the base, all supported on a stand and a fitted cover

The overall condition is good with the exception of some bug bites and age cracks to the carving. The base of the vessel is also detached.
