delicately hollowed-out and skilfully carved in high relief using the natural contortion of the branch with a continuous landscape, depicting a thatched roof pavilion on a rocky promontory, further detailed with shrubs growing behind a balustrade and a lone willow tree gently swaying in the breeze, the wood patinated to a warm golden-brown colour
Condition
A small section of the guard-rail to the left of the willow tree is restored, and two other small sections have chipped off (to the right of the tree and next to the mountain, but overall the brushpot is in good condition.
