delightfully carved in the round in the form of a parrot perched on the stalk of a large peach, grasping a leaf in its beak while coating the lobed fruit with its outstretched wings, its plumage detailed with fine incisions, two further leaves furling above and below, the smoothly polished stone of even white colour highlighted by a faint light brown patch at the tip of the peach lobes

It is in overall very good condition without any apparent nibbles. The actual colour is slightly warmer than the catalogue illustration.
