There is some overall light scratching and wear to the enamels. There is some rubbing and stain marks around the characters on the upper left of the panel (showing on the illustration in the catalogue).

本品瓷屏，陳國治作，相同類品存世尚少。陳國治，清道光年間江西景德鎮雕瓷藝匠，雕瓷三大家之一。所作之品，刻屬其款，製工繁細，神形兼備，多仿竹木、象牙等物，惟妙惟肖。
